Welcome to the HG blog post series, #MeetTeamHG, where we will be posting an interview with each person on our executive team!
Lisa developed her love for storytelling as a child actress on Hit TV Shows such as Malcolm in The Middle and Boston Public. She carried that passion behind the scenes working product placement and marketing jobs for Cannel Street Films, The Disney Channel, American Idol and the Jonas Brothers. She learned firsthand how to create viral product and pop campaigns using social media from some of the biggest teen sensations in Hollywood. Lisa has been a key note speaker/trainer for over 300 conferences, business summits, and trainings. She has marketed projects for numerous celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, Tai Lopez , Charlize Theron and Matthew McConaughey.
Learn more about Lisa in her team interview below!
How long have you been in the marketing/advertising industry?
Around 8 years. I started as a marketing assistant for some large production studios in 2014 and moved into digital Marketing in 2016.
What advice would you give yourself if you could go back to Day 1 of your career?
Don’t compartmentalize data and storytelling as two separate things. You have to use the data to guide what kind of stories you should tell and to whom.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a small town in Indiana and also spent time intermittently in Colorado as my mom is from here.
Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
Hayden Panettiere
Favorite recent brand experience?
Instacart, anything that can save me time will catch my interest. It reminds me that the most important thing a brand can focus on is how they can better solve an important problem.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
“The Pursuit of Purpose” - An Autobiography of Lisa Lewolt.
Favorite quote?
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”
Least favorite chore?
Up until last week, I would have said the dishes. But after watching a few YouTube videos on “hacks to organize the dishwasher,” the jury is out as to whether this will soon change.
If you could go to any concert (dead or alive), who would it be?
Britney Spears, pre-2018.
What is your hidden talent?
My non-hidden talent is performing. My hidden talent is making even the most loving kitty cats run from me.
I am the epitome of Almirah from Animaniacs; I just want to “hold them, and squeeze them and love them forever and ever” apparently it's a bit much for them.
Least favorite word?
Give-Up
What would you do if you won $1,000,000?
Feed the hungry and then build a Willy Wonka type mansion filled with candy.
